Overview

This course enables participants to use two frameworks that support the preparation for change and the design of change in organisations. Participants will draw on their own experience of change and become familiar with two frameworks to guide their management of change situations

Prerequisites

Managers who are involved in designing and implementing changes in organisations ideally with a “current” change in mind. Ideal for managers charged with implementing an organisational change and who need to: Understand how to manage the complexities of organisational change Prepare by analysing what the change means in their organisation and what choices they have Break down the complex change into clear, manageable stages Understand the implications of power and politics in their own organisational change context Understand what causes people to resist change and how to respond to resistance Develop an action plan
